Notice for Public Bid-Jail (Complex) Roof

 

DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTAL:  August 3rd, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. to the Louisa County Auditor Office 117 S. Main St., Wapello, IA. 52653.  Sealed Bids will be opened August 4th, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Regular Board Meeting.

Louisa County invites qualified contractors to submit bids to provide the following services located at Louisa County Jail (Complex) 12635 Co. Rd. G56 Wapello, IA 52653.

  • Install Roof Crickets to six (6) locations. See attached pictures
  • Cut back existing standing seam metal roof panels.
  • Furnish and install steel roof cricket behind roof curbs to promote water drainage around the curbs.
  • All crickets to be tied-into existing roof panels with butyl sealant and proper adhesive/sealant.

Louisa County is accepting bids to fill LP Fuel tank located at Louisa County Complex 12635 Co. Rd. G56 Wapello, IA 52653.  DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTAL:  August 3rd, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. to the Louisa County Auditor Office 117 S. Main St., Wapello, IA. 52653.  Sealed Bids will be opened on August 4th, 2026 at Regular Board Meeting.

Request for Quotes – Louisa County Board of Supervisors – Lawncare Service

 

The Louisa County Board of Supervisors is requesting quotes for lawncare service at the Louisa County Courthouse, Annex, and Food Pantry. All buildings are within 1 city block of one another and total about 3 acres of grass. Addresses and acreage below.

 

LC Courthouse – 117 S Main St, Wapello, IA – 2.2 acres

LC Annex – 503 Franklin St, Wapello, IA – 0.5 acres

LC Food Pantry – 407 Washington St, Wapello, IA  – 0.2 acres

 

The service dates should extend from as soon as possible through roughly November 1, 2026, or when the lawncare season is finished.

Weekly or as needed work to be included: Mowing, Trimming/Spot Herbicide treatments, leaf removal/lawn sweeping, low hanging tree limb removal, and other related tasks such as picking up limbs/sticks and scattered litter.
